Millions of Americans live in fear of getting sick because they can’t afford the care they need – President Obama wants to change that by giving all Americans access to public health care.

Under President Obama’s plan, Americans could choose between the insurance plan they have already (if they have one) or a public plan that would provide quality, affordable care.

Unsurprisingly, private insurers have spent millions of dollars trying to keep this plan from becoming reality. Instead, they’re asking for “reform” that wouldn’t change anything at all.

I signed a petition asking my senators to side with President Obama and the American people – not the insurance industry. I hope you will, too.
